Today we're pleased to announce that Flash Player 11.8.800.175 is available for download via our auto update mechanism. This update includes multiple stability fixes for the Windows ActiveX (Internet Explorer) plugin only:
Current Flash Player desktop users that have enrolled in the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" will receive this update within 24 hours. Customers that have selected the "Notify me to install updates" update option will receive an update notification dialog within 7 days from today (please note that Windows users will need to restart their system to receive the notification dialog.)
We anticipate updating our Flash Player download page (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer) on Tuesday, September 24th.
